This Privacy Policy describes how GiveawayPro (“the Bot”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our Discord-based giveaway management service.

GiveawayPro is designed to minimize data collection and only store the information required to manage giveaways securely, fairly, and efficiently.

2. Information We Collect

  • Discord ID and Username: We collect your public Discord ID and username to identify you for giveaways.

  • Interaction Data: We collect limited interaction data (e.g., the commands you use, the server and channel you use them in) so the bot can respond to your requests.

  • Giveaway Data: When you enter or win a giveaway, we temporarily store entry information, winners, and relevant role data until the giveaway ends.

  • Server Settings: If enabled by an admin, we store configuration data such as giveaway templates, role multipliers, cooldown rules, and logging preferences.

3. Use of Information

We use collected information only for the following purposes:

  • Giveaway Management: To track entries, select winners, apply cooldown rules, and generate fairness logs.

  • Server Configuration: To save and re-use settings such as templates, recurring giveaways, and automation features.

  • Notifications: To optionally notify giveaway winners via Discord DM (Premium feature).

  • Improvement & Debugging: To monitor usage trends, ensure fairness, and troubleshoot technical issues.

4. Public Logs and Transparency

  • Fairness Logs: Some giveaway outcomes may be logged in a server’s designated public log channel for transparency. These logs contain only necessary giveaway details (e.g., winner IDs).

  • Winner Cooldowns: We may track previous winners within a server to enforce anti-repeat winner settings. This data is only stored as long as needed to enforce the rule.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no internet-based service can guarantee 100% security. For this reason, GiveawayPro is designed to collect and retain as little personal data as possible.

6. Data Retention

  • Giveaway entries and winner data are deleted automatically when a giveaway ends, unless needed for fairness logs.

  • Server settings (templates, multipliers, etc.) are retained only while the bot is active in your server.

  • If a server removes GiveawayPro, its associated configuration data is deleted.

  • Premium billing information (if applicable) is handled securely by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe/PayPal) — GiveawayPro does not store payment data.

7. Third-Party Services

  • GiveawayPro relies on Discord to process all user interactions.

  • Information such as user IDs, server IDs, and interaction commands are first processed by Discord before being passed to the Bot.

  • GiveawayPro does not control how Discord stores or transmits this data. For more information, please refer to Discord’s Privacy Policy.

8. Children’s Privacy

GiveawayPro is intended for use only on Discord, which requires users to be 13 years or older. We do not knowingly collect or store data from users under 13. If you believe data from a child under 13 has been collected, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, and significant changes may be announced via Discord or other appropriate means.
